On December 1 (Tue.), 2020, the 167th Session of the General Assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) was held online and the Registration of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, was approved at the General Assembly.
1. BIE’s approval for the registration of the Expo
On December 1 (Tue.), 2020, the 167th Session of the BIE General Assembly was held online and the Registration of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, was approved at the General Assembly. Toward the successful convening of the Expo, Japan will advance related activities for inviting the participation of many countries and international organizations in the Expo through Japan’s overseas embassies and consulates.
