For three days on April 10, 12 and 13, 2023, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) of the Republic of Korea (ROK) held a Japan-Korea Export Control Policy Dialogue.
For three days on April 10, 12 and 13, 2023, METI and MOTIE held a Japan-Korea Export Control Policy Dialogue.
In this policy dialogue, METI and MOTIE exchanged views on overall approaches to advancing a series of policy dialogues, and METI also reviewed the current state of operation of the list control and the catch-all control and the effectiveness thereof in the ROK, including verification through comparison with Japan’s operation.
Moreover, the two sides agreed to hold the next Japan-Korea Export Control Policy Dialogue for three days from April 18 to 20, 2023, in the ROK.
