Minister Kajiyama held a meeting with Senior Minister Prasidh, taking the opportunity of his visit to Japan to celebrate the 20th anniversary since the start of exchange between Cambodia and Kitakyushu City in the field of water supply technologies. Minister Kajiyama expressed his gratitude for Senior Minister Prasidh’s contribution to enhancing Japan-Cambodia economic ties and conveyed his expectations for further enrichment of cooperation in the field of water.
Senior Minister Prasidh expressed his gratitude for Japan’s long-standing technical cooperation in the field of water supply and other efforts and stated his strong expectations for METI’s continuous cooperation in expanding Japan’s investment in Cambodia.
The two ministers confirmed that the countries will continue to cooperate in expanding economic exchange in a variety of fields, including water supply.
