On April 24 (Fri.), 2020, Mr. Kajiyama Hiroshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry and Minister for Economic Cooperation with Russia, held a meeting via video conference with H.E. Mr. Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development of Russia.
At the meeting, the ministers held discussions on the feasibility of Japan-Russia cooperation in measures for addressing the novel coronavirus disease, including quick testing kits, and agreed on further expansion of cooperation by placing this issue in the field of medical care under the Eight-Point Cooperation Plan.
