On September 26, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS), Malaysia signed an MoC on promoting cooperation in energy transitions.
In order to promote realistic and diverse transitions utilizing a wide range of technologies and energy sources in light of Malaysia’s situation toward decarbonization, METI and PETRONAS Malaysia signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on Accelerating the Cooperation of Energy Transitions, and confirmed that both sides will further promote cooperation under the Asia Energy Transition Initiative (AETI).
