The 29th Round of Negotiations for the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) will be held via video conference from April 20 to 24, 2020.
This conference will be held via video conference due to the current situation surrounding the novel coronavirus disease. Representing Japan at the meeting will be, Dr. Tamura Akihiko, Deputy Director-General for Trade Policy of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry; Mr. Yoshida Yasuhiko, Deputy Director-General, Economic Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; as well as representatives from other relevant ministries and agencies.
